“While reading Autumn it was so easy to imagine myself in the world Melissa has created thanks to her rich descriptions of the landscape and scenery. The revival of the Guardians and use of Magic reminded me of Sanderson’s Stormlight Archives and Mistborn (two of my favourite fantasy series). The novel was fast-paced and the three main characters’ were engaging, particularly towards the end when their distinctive personalities really started to come through. I can’t wait to read the next installment (especially to see what happens between Aurielle and Gabriel).”

About Me
Melissa Nash was born in South Africa, grew up in Yorkshire and studied Geography at Aberystwyth University in Wales.
She has spent the last few years travelling and working as a freelancer and musician, all the while gathering ideas to combine her interest in the natural environment and fantasy into her first novel, Autumn.
Her original inspiration for writing was The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien and she was later on also influenced by other fantasy authors, such as Garth Nix, Susan Cooper and Andrzej Sapkowski, by the worlds they created.
